Teen3 - A compilation of the three most insightful and accomplished films produced during our Fledging Films Summer Institute. Taking on issues as powerful and diverse as teenage homelessness and plastic surgery, these films show the potential of contemporary youth media as a tool for self-expression and social commentary.

'Losing Sleep'
is a powerful and graphic documentary about homeless teenage girls in Vermont, speaking openly about their experiences of sexual abuse, depression, drugs and the everyday struggle to survive on the streets.
'Carlin Fell' is the story of teenage outcast Carlin Peterson; who, tormented by his peers, struggles to pull his family together after the death of his mother.
'Perfect 10' is the story of a teenage girl's quest to perfect her body through plastic surgery, and what she discovers along the way.

"I was so impressed by the quality and precocity of these films.... they're infinitely more honest than what's produced by most university filmmaking students."
-Gerald Peary, film critic for the Boston Phoenix

A great video for educators, social service agencies and counselors who work with teens, as a tool to broach subjects and stimulate discussion.
